Pitching demoPersonal Statement
I place a very high priority on grades (currently 4.49 GPA) and improving my softball skills. I have a very solid reputation as a good teammate and for putting team needs before my own. My mental game is also strong - my coaches describe me as even keel.
As far as pitching, I am in my 8th year of lessons which has led to success at the Varsity (1st team) and travel ball level. I have a total of 17 championship wins. I have earned wins against several elite travel teams such as Stingrays 03, Classics 02, Cincy Doom 02, Sun Dogs 03, Lightning Gold 03, Valley Storm 03 & Ohio Swat 03. In addition to my fastball that I can locate with confidence, I also have a change, rise, curve and drop curve.
I started playing when I was six years old and I never looked back. I contribute my love of softball to the people who have guided me. I have been blessed with amazing coaches along the way and I hope and pray my college experience will see this trend continue. I truly enjoy playing the game. My goal is to keep playing successfully for years to come, surrounded by great coaches and teammates.

- Team record was 33-7-1 for this season. I was technically a 14u, but played on the 16u team. We had an outstanding season against some very competitive teams. Unfortunately many games/tournaments were rained out. I was used as pitcher, 1B, LF, RF.

- Character, Attitude, Leadership Award (CAL Award). Team record was 13-15-1. I also played with the '02 Riot team for two tournaments this season.
