In the future, I would like to play short stop or center field in college where I plan to major in Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine and would like to use this degree at the University helping other athletes after I graduate. I am a good candidate for your team because I am a leader, influential, and a team player. I stand out from other recruits because at home I am the oldest of six kids. When I’m at home, I help my mom and my stepmom babysit my younger siblings. In addition, when I am on the field, I am encouraging to others on my team. When someone makes a mistake or misses a ball, I encourage them to do better next time. We win as a team and lose as a team. In my academics, I also help tutor others to ensure their success. Therefore, I am a leader and team player at home, school and on the field. Overall, softball has taught me that you can’t just focus on yourself you have to be able to work well with others in order to work as a team.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Amelia Caldwell
