Grace Gerhard '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grace Gerhard, and I am a RHP, first baseman, and outfielder.  I am very passionate about the game of softball and want to play at the collegiate level.  I am willing to do whatever it takes to get there.  One of my greatest strengths is my focus. When I am on the mound, I do not get rattled. I am locked in the zone for each pitch no matter what the situation is. I am also very coachable. When there is an opportunity to learn more or improve, I will take it, trying to learn something to help me get better from each and every person I come in contact with. I love competing and being a leader.  My teammates and coaches can always count on me to bring the energy and be a leader on and off of the field.  As a student-athlete I embrace challenges, I am disciplined, and I am motivated to be successful on the field and in the classroom. While being a multi-sport athlete and honor student, I continue to work hard everyday.  This game has also taught me to deal with adversity.  The 23-24 season brought many ups and downs along with unexpected events, however I used it to push myself further and develop my skills to the next level.  I am looking forward for the 24-25 season, and cannot wait to see what the future brings!
