Tayler Willey '20 Recruiting Profile

   My parents have always told my sisters and I to be the best we could be. We were also told to represent where we come from. My mother and father have been there for me throughout the entire recruiting process, so far. I'm extremely blessed to be going to Lake High School, the teachers, the guidance counsellors, and principals push you to be the best you can be, academically and athletically.

   As a student, I always push myself to have high grades and high test scores. I am efficient in the classroom, and a strong individual who wants to do the absolute best. I am self motivating, and always have a smile on my face. I am a freshman mentor and plan to be one also for my senior year. After high school I would like to work in Health Professions, such as Dentistry.

   As an athlete, I started on Junior Varsity my freshman year, and went up to Varsity for the last 8 games of the season. Sophomore year I was the designated hitter for the year and pitched. I lettered in Varsity softball my sophomore year. I always put the team first. I love being around my friends all spring/ summer long. Being with them always puts a smile on my face. Some accomplishments I have are winning ASA Eastern Nationals in 2014,  getting 2nd place at Northern Nationals this past year, in Bloomington, Indiana. and placing high at PGF tournaments and ASA nationals. I would like to continue my academic and athletic abilities to play in college, if possible.
