Ryleigh Lees '21 Recruiting Profile

I am encouraging to my teammates and have stepped up as a team leader on my travel softball team.  My passion for the sport grows stronger every day that I step on the field and I feel there is no off season if you want to be the best.  I continue to push myself to succeed in everything I do.  

My academic goals are to continue to have a high grade point average and a perfect attendance.  I feel college is a must in today's society and with the right school I will be able to accomplish my goal of succeeding in the medical field.                                                                                              

I have overcome some obstacles over the course of the last few years.  I have always been a main pitcher for my travel teams and as I get older and play better competition, I realized my pitching skills were not good enough for me.  I changed pitching coaches and learned a new pitching style and some of my pitches are now being used in a more productive way then before.  I am a quick learner and take corrections seriously.  I listen to my coaches and show my coaches, teammates, other teams and umpires the respect they deserve.  I cannot wait to continue to develop at the next level.
