Hi Coach! My name is Beth Damon. I am a 2024 from Edmond, OK. I am a C/3B/1B. I am the starting catcher for my travel ball team, Aces Fastpitch, and I'm the starting 3B for my high school, Edmond Memorial. I typically hit the 3-5 hole. I hit for power, and I am very disciplined, leading my team in walks. I love catching because it allows me to control certain aspects of the game. It's one of my favorite things to work for my pitchers. It's very important to me that I'm trusted behind the plate. With my strong arm, I easily command the runners on base. I am always working my hardest, not only on the field, but in the classroom as well. I have a 4.0 and take all honors classes. Playing at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Softball has allowed me to learn so many life lessons and has taught me that I need to work to achieve my goals. I love to compete and the daily grind that comes with competing. It is important to me to have a coach that is tough on me to make me better, but is still there for their athletes. I want to be on a team where my teammates share a work ethic and want to complete to win. I know by staying focused and by working hard, nothing can stop me in achieving my goals. Thank you coach for looking over my information! I am looking forward to hearing from you!
