Personal Statement

My dream has always been to play for a D1 school. I have always been  told I will never get there because of my height! I have had to overcome adversity a lot since I started playing ball because some feel I couldn't fulfill my position in softball because of my size.  My plan, work harder and be bigger then what I was to show them I CAN do it!

I pride myself In being a good team mate. When my team is down in a game I always try to lift them up and compliment them on a job well done .

Hard work is important to me on and off the field. My grades come first always. My parents have always taught me that when you don't work as hard there is always someone out there working harder then you to get what they want. Nothing in life is garaunteed or given to you. You always have to work for what you want.

I love that the one thing my coaches love about me is they can put me pretty much anywhere on the field and I will give them 100% every time. I also like that because I can play so many different positions it gives me a different view of the game all over the field and it gives me a chance to learn new things! I love to learn new parts of the game always. I am coachable.

Outside of school and sports I enjoy riding our horses and helping my Dad and Grandpa work and move cattle. I have seen what my Grandfather has built on all of his hard work as a rancher. My family is my biggest supporters and always teach me to work harder then the person next to me and to never give up on my dreams and goals. I also enjoy learning more about my Native American heritage and I participate in ceremonial dance and pow wows in the summer.

I think any level of college ball that I get to play will be a true honor and I will give 110% to whom ever gives me an opportunity to be a part of their team.

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
