Mackenzie Buzzard '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Kenzie. I am a utility player,  and I also catch. I attend Ketchum High School in Ketchum, Oklahoma. I also play travel ball with Elite Heat based out of Seneca, Missouri.II have played softball since I was 4 years old.it is my goal to continue playing softball after high school. I'm very driven to be the best player I can be with my own personal goals, along with being the best teammate I can be.  

My goals for college is to continue to grow in my softball abilities and also continue my education. I would like to become a teacher and coach, so I'm able to pass on my knowledge and love of this sport to future generations. As I've had many people support me and push me to surpass what I thought were my limits.

I have a 3.5 GPA and also enrolled in honor courses. I do plan on maintaining that GPA and bringing it up over my high school career, because I know that even though I love this game that my education is the main focus.

I am very driven to improve my abilities and also learn more about the game. Whether it's in the off-season in the weight room or doing basic drills. I also learn from my mistakes and not let it affect the way I play or practice.

I have a great support system in my family and I wouldn't be where I am today without their love and support.
