My goal in college is to obtain a bachelors degree in my field of choice and possibly a masters. I have not decided what my major will be, but I have some ideas of what I want my future career to be. A softball scholarship would help offset the cost of college and I would love to continue my career beyond high school. I think I am a good candidate for your team because I am very versatile in what positions I can play. As a freshman and sophomore I played third base on varsity and did well, and then as a junior played catcher and also did well. This year my role changed and I had to go to center field. I feel comfortable playing a lot of positions and I’m willing to try new things. I am a straight A student and academics are just as important as sports to me and I try to stay on top of my work. I come from a small town so we play with whoever is willing to be on the team, so sometimes I've had to play with girls that are two or three years younger than me and it has made me a better, more optimistic teammate. As well as being involved in sports, I have also been active in leadership classes, conferences, and training. I am also a member of many organizations and clubs in my school. I think that I am a good leader and team player, and I also take school seriously and am willing to try new things.
