I’m Aislinn Cunningham and I graduate in 2021. I currently play 1st base for my high school varsity team. I am always encouraging my teammates through the ups and downs a team goes through. I find it reassuring when I am encouraged so I like to my teammates to always feel the same way. I do well at school and my cumulative GPA is 3.4. I am always doing whatever I can do to keep those grades up. When I am not doing homework or at practice, I am either in the weight room or in the batting cages.
My collegiate goals are to find the perfect school to get my degree in and one that will let me be apart of the team. I have always been interested in sports medicine because I want to be apart on an athlete's healing process. I find it so heartwarming to see an athlete work so extremely hard to get back onto a field or court again. This has caused me to appreciate every moment I have in the gym and on the field. Softball means so much to me and I play my heart out on that field every game. You never know when it could be the last. I am an extremely coachable player and I do everything I can to get better. Staying after practice to do a few more reps with my coach, go out to the batting cages on a weekend, etc. I strive to become a better player so I make sure to put my all into everything knowing that it will pay off.
