My name is Sophie Woodburn, a catcher and middle infielder at Grants Pass High School. In college, I hope to further my education in the medical field to continue the steps of fulfilling my goal of becoming a nurse practitioner while continuing to play softball.
My junior year I was awarded the Caveman award which is voted on by the coaches and fellow teammates for showing leadership, selflessness, commitment to the team and program, punctuality, and positivity. Although I have won other awards in my life, I feel the most accomplished in receiving this award because it symbolizes my character and work ethic.
