I am a leader, team player, and fierce competitor both on and off the softball field. I have an outgoing personality type, am a hard worker, and have a strong desire to learn both academically and athletically. I believe in life long learning, becoming interdependent, and I look forward to creating the life I want to live in the future. To be successful you need to accept personal responsibility, push yourself to try new things, and be goal oriented. My dreams are to play softball in college, to travel the world, and to challenge myself. I think that a career in Business and Sports Marketing would fit me well. In order to create the life I want to live, I need to continue to be open- minded, use my skills/strengths, and continue to be persistent--all while having some fun of course! Hard work and determination pay off. I want to be a role model for younger athletes. Over the course of a few years, I went from a struggling softball player (from a skills point of view), to one that made tremendous leaps and bounds by putting in the work. I am proud of my drive and determination to improve. I plan to continue with this growth mindset now and into the future regardless of where life takes me.
