Hello coaches,
I recently made the switch to the glorious sport of Track & Field. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with the sport, becoming increasingly eager to learn and practice. During my normal season, I competed in three events, with my main focus on Javelin and Triple Jump. Despite starting the triple jump just three weeks before the end of the regular season, I managed to secure 7th place in the district.
Throughout the season, I honed my javelin skills, ultimately clinching 3rd place in the district and earning myself a spot in the state championships. With only a 6-step approach (three crossovers) up to that point, I dedicated myself to learning my full run-up in preparation for the state competition. After less than a week of practice, I competed in the state championships and achieved a new personal record of 125' 4", securing 5th place. While I'm content with my performances this season, I'm eager to use the off-season to refine my techniques and perfect my approaches.
