My name is Kourtney Gavatorta. I have been playing softball since the age of 5. I have played travel softball for the renegades softball association since I was 10. I played for the Nitro travel softball team for one season (12&u). My team has traveled to at least 5 out of state tournaments including the stingrays in Columbus Ohio and the Triple Crown tournament in South Carolina. We just ended our season Oct 17-19 in Greensburg Pa. When I am playing softball I strive to be the best I can be on and off the field. I encourage my teammates both on and off the field. I consider my team FAMILY.
My goal is to pursue a degree in criminal justice. I chose this major because my older sister Kandice just finished college with a degree and she caught my interest on wanting to protect and serve as a law enforcer. I hope to play softball while I am pursing my career. Softball has been a huge part of my life, playing year round and traveling every summer for the past 4 years.
