Sydney McCleaf '26 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to go out of high school knowing I am going to be studying something I love while also falling more in love with my sport. I would like to study Nursing, while also pursuing softball at the same time. I would be a good fit for your team because I am a hard worker and I apply the criticism  that coaches give to me. I always give 110% and work as hard as I can to get where I want to be. I enjoy the woods, as I love to hunt. My grandfather and my dad taught me how to hunt, and doing that with them is many of the moments I cherish. Family is very important to me, as I have a great bond with my parents and siblings. I also want my parents to like the school that I go to because they want just as good as a future for me as I do for myself. I wouldn't be where I am without them so they should have a say in my career as they have been such a big part of it. I am different from other recruits because I have a lot of confidence in myself on the field, but I am not over confident and know that there is always room for improvement. I am a good listener, but I also get along with people very well and can start conversation. I work very hard in school and take the hardest classes as I like to challenge myself. I have all A's, and continue to strive to be better than I am and be the best person I can be for myself.
