Amanda Smith '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Amanda Smith and I am a right-handed pitcher on the field and a nerd in the classroom. I love school and am excited about the opportunity to continue my education in college and someday my big dream is to go to Medical School to become a doctor. I am very active in my school community (Trinity High School), through clubs like Shamrock Ambassador, Book Club and Key Club and many more, and I also participate in two other Varsity Sports at Trinity; tennis and swimming. In addition to loving school and softball I enjoy volunteering in my local community, and recently I was a teen volunteer at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. 

I am a strong leader on the field and at Trinity High School, and I believe that a strong leader must be dedicated and determined to help the good of the team. I am very coachable and I will ALWAYS try my best to execute any drill or exercise. I’m ambitious and competitive and I strive to become better each and every day.  My goals for softball include learning a riseball (that is this winter’s big project), and I would also increase my performance at the plate and help contribute to the success of my team.
