Personal Statement

Hello,

My name is Haiden Brookens and I am in the class of 2020. My primary position is 3rd base. I also play short stop and 2nd base. I am a starter for the Chambersburg Lady Trojans Varsity team and the Pa Poison 18u A team. I was also selected to the 2018 and 2019 Carpenter Cup Allstar team. I am a straight A student that takes my grades and commitment to my team seriously.

I have an interest continuing to play softball at the college level. Academics have always come first and my dedication to my grades have taught me what it takes to excel on the field as well. I look forward to my next chapter in the classroom and on the diamond!

MID-PENN TEAM Our team is comprised of 17 players and 4 coaches. The players represent 11 different High School teams in the Mid Penn. Of the 17 players, 14 are 1st Team or 2nd Team All-Stars for their division. We have 5 pitchers, 4 of which are in the Mid Penn top 10 pitching statistics. Of our 17 players, 9 were Mid Penn leaders in various categories. We have 3 lefty slappers who can bunt, slap and hit for power. Our 5 outfielders have excellent speed with strong arms. As a team, we are very athletic and hit the ball very well.
