Allie Bretz '26 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I first stepped onto the softball field at the age of 10, my passion for the game has only grown stronger. Joining my travel team at 13, I may have started later than some, but my commitment to mastering the sport has been unwavering. From practicing in the garage to competing with my teams, softball has become an integral part of my life.  I hope to one day make my dream of continuing to play softball in college a reality.

As the primary catcher for my main 16u travel team, I take great pride in my role. While I primarily serve as catcher due to being the sole player in that position for my team, I embrace the opportunity to contribute in other positions as well. When supporting the 18U team as a secondary catcher, I am also versatile enough to play first base and outfield when needed. Continuously absorbing coaching feedback, I strive to excel in any position, always ready to contribute wherever my team requires. My pursuit of improvement is fueled by my desire to make my coaches and teammates proud, and to achieve personal milestones on and off the field.  I want to be proud of my efforts and accomplishments.

Off the diamond, I am equally driven academically, maintaining a strong work ethic to excel in all subjects. Enrolled in all Honors courses, I have consistently achieved honors-level grades, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence. Currently balancing Varsity Basketball with Varsity Softball and my education, I am actively seeking opportunities to further challenge myself. I am enrolled in AP courses and pursuing an education to our school's Technical School program, where I aim to focus on nursing and medical. My ultimate goal is to pursue an anesthesiologist career in the medical field, where I can make a meaningful impact through compassionate care and dedication to patient well-being.

If given the opportunity to play softball at the collegiate level, I am committed to giving my all both on and off the field. It would be a dream come true to represent a college team and contribute to its success. Thank you for considering my journey and passion for the game.
