My name is Carlie Miller and I'm a 5'2" passionate and hardworking softball player. I'm truly dedicated to softball. I'm a versatile athlete who knows the game of softball. I have been on the varsity softball team at my high school since my freshmen year. One of my best accomplishments were being earning a "letter" in high school during my freshman and sophomore seasons. My Junior year was cut short due to COVID-19, however, I was elected team captain of my high school team by the players and coaches as a junior.
Knowing that I'm capable of playing softball in college makes me more passionate for this sport. I am extremely motivated to work hard and improve my game as well as my teammates. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to go to the field and the last to leave. I always strive to give my best and get the best out of my teammates.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my options are very big. I am very open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play softball I will be happy. I have considered getting a degree in government/political science and or history, however I do understand my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at the highest competition level. I also know I can be a leader on and off the field, especially promoting the sports for younger girls. I want to be a true ambassador to the game of softball. I know at the end of the day I will make a difference. I will always try my hardest playing the game I love.
