Receiving the Coaches' Award at the conclusion of my sophomore season says a lot about who I am as a player and a person. The recipient of the Coaches' Award is given to a player who is the first one on the field and the last one to leave, works hard (on and off the field), and is a leader and motivator. I feel this is an accurate description of my work ethic and personality.
As a high academic achiever, with a 4.6 GPA, and serious competitor, I feel I will be an asset to any school and softball program. Academically, I am looking for a challenging curriculum as I prepare myself for law school. For softball, I am looking for a team that has the mark of any great team- the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I am hoping to make lifelong friends and lasting memories in my college years.
As a college student and softball player, I will constantly strive to better myself as an athlete and person.
