I am looking for a college that is hands on with their students. A place where I can learn what is needed for my major in the class room as well has experiences that will teach me the necessary requirements for a future career. Right now in school I have a 3.6 GPA. I work very hard to learn everything that I can by listening, studying and participating in the classroom. My grades are very important to me. I know that I must continue to work hard both in the classroom and on the softball field.
I have been playing softball since I was six year old. I started catching at the age of eight and have loved it ever since. I enjoy working with my teammates and meeting new players. As a catcher I have caught for my own school district as well as other school district pitchers when I play summer and fall softball. I love working with different pitchers and learning from them there different techniques of how they pitch and how to get them to pitch better. I love trying to figure out what the next batter will do, where to have them pitch to, seeing if they can be struck out.
I would love to attend a college that I love while also playing softball. I believe that softball is a team sports and that all players are equal no matter what their strength or weakness.
