2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Emma Smith and I currently go to South Fayette High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Softball has always been an important part of my life. For me, it's not just the game that's important, but also the friendships and teamwork. Softball is a mental sport and it especially gets hard when you're not doing as well. Being a team player, when others are down I try my best to pick them back up.
Outside of softball, I spend a lot of time with friends and family. I enjoy helping my little brother with baseball. My sister and I love to do makeup, paint nails, and do all that girly stuff. I try to be the best role model I can for my little siblings because they need someone to look up to and follow after. With friends, it's important to spend quality time to really build strong friendships. Just like teammates, it's important to be there for each other on and off the field.
It's always been my dream to play at the highest level. I am willing to put in as much effort as I can athletically and academically.
