I am a planner. I like to know when things are, how things are, and why things are. Ever since I was little I can remember being this way. Though I will fully admit this attribute of mine has been detrimental at times, I can also say that it has allowed me to understand why, even at the age of 17, I know what I want to do with my life and my future. I want to play softball in college, I want to become a veterinarian, and most importantly I want to live a life that pursues God. So, while I never planned to fall in love with softball at the ripe age of seven, I plan to continue that love well into my old age!
Pitching, and playing softball overall, allows for me to connect with others around me who have a similar passion. I love working alongside my teammates and creating bonds that can only be created on the field. Softball allows me to push my body and mind in ways that are not possible through simply going to the gym or going on a long run. I enjoy making every aspect of myself stronger, not only for myself, but also for the benefit of my teammates. Without softball I would not be the person I am today, and for that I am extremely grateful!
