My dream for my future is to do what I love and what calms me down, which is softball.Softball is where I feel safe and what makes me happy.I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old.It is where I am most confident in everything I do.As I know I would like to attend college I try to keep my grades as best of my ability. While doing this I have finished my freshman year with highest honor roll, and in honors classes for my sophomore year.I also received an award for the highest over all Algebra 1 GPA, and the highest English 9 GPA .I am currently a straight A student and would love to keep it up to that standard.I am the captain for my travel team practicing my leadership skills.I have been nominated for the 2023 Mid-Atlantic All Star games. In the year or 2022 I finished my season with 247 strike outs.As this was a great accomplishment I also learned from it to push myself as I came up 3 strikeouts away from 250 strikeouts. As I was a starter on varsity as a Freshmen I began to face many adversities. I learned that softball is a sport of mental toughness and in order to be great you must have learned how to take your losses and beatings. I first started playing softball because I grew up in the atmosphere. My sister played travel ball and I was at every tournament. She inspired me to start playing. One of my goals is to be better then my sister in academics and sports.I love the sibling rivalry.I also play basketball during the winter, and I have tried any other sports but my heart has always has gone back to softball.I love watching college softball and the family atmosphere the teams bring.I would like to major in Exercise Science to become a physical therapist assistant or athletic trainer.I first found my heart in this field when I went through physical therapy in 2021.The help and support the trainers give to athletes,it really does help in the long run.Over all I would love to continue my softball career, and further my academics truly doing what I love.
