Camila Martinez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Camila Martinez, I am a 17 year old with a very strong love for the game of softball. I have played softball since I was 5 years old and I hope to continue playing, in the near future, in college. I have many collegiate goals including, I hope to attend a college that feels like home to me and makes me comfortable. I plan on graduating college with a bachelors and possibly a masters degree. I consider myself a great candidate for anyone’s softball team because I have a special passion for the game that not many people have. I am hard working and an excellent teammate. I am different from other people because I like to challenge myself and keep busy by taking the hardest classes I can and excelling in those classes as well. I am a genuinely happy person who loves to pick up teammates when they are down and cheer my team on. I also think I am a very good utility player because I will play were I am put and do my best while playing. I also bat switch which is very uncommon and unique. I can safely say that I play the game in a very smart way and if I fail I get back up and try again.
