I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old. When I stepped over that chalk line, I realized that Softball is my passion. I've always known I wanted to go to college to continue my education, and to be able to play Softball at the collegiate level, seemed like a no-brainer.
Whenever I have practice or a game I find myself being the first one there and the last to leave. I take pride in my effort and hard work not only as an athlete but as a student as well. I do whatever it takes to get the best grades I can get, even if it means giving up free-time. Not only am I a Softball player, but as an incoming Freshman I made the Varsity Field Hockey team at Norristown Area High School and was a starting Mid-Fielder.
At school, I am taking all Weighted Honors courses and I am also in the Gifted Program. Alongside my core classes, I am also taking a Law and a Business class. Outside of school, I volunteer my time and work with Special Olympics.
I want to go to a college where I will be determined to obtain an education that will serve me well in the future, but also "perfect" my skills on the diamond. I hope through this process to become a better role model for my team and my friends/family.
