Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Shalyn Whittemore and I am a class of 2025 and I primarily pitch, but I can be used anywhere on the field. I have recently grown to love the outfield, as I played center field when I was not pitching during the high school season and was very successful. In the future, I am really looking toward majoring in journalism and broadcasting or early childhood education. I love to write and I went to states in middle school for a video contest and took third. I also love to work with kids and am getting more and more interested in becoming a teacher someday. I am a very good student, who made the Principal's List (All A) every year throughout middle school and my freshman year of high school. I thank you for taking the time to read about me and I look forward to discussing what my future may hold.
