Playing softball my whole life, I've learned how amazing the game is and I want to further my career at a university that fits me, both academically and athletically. As a catcher, I know the game extremely well and love being the leader of the field. This sport has brought me friends I will have for life, taught me many valuable lessons to beneficially impact me in the long run, and most importantly given me a confidence I've never had before by showing me that no matter what's going on in my life, when I play the game that's all that matters. What sets me apart from other players is that I'll do anything for my team and give my best effort to win and help my team succeed. I'll play anywhere my coach needs me, even when it may not be the position I love. I'm constantly pushing myself to become better and will do whatever it takes to help lead my team in a positive way. Academically I strive to have the best grades possible because no matter where I further my career in softball, after those four years of my life I need to rely on a solid education to find a job I'll love until the day I retire.
