Maya Hellyer '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maya Hellyer; I am a junior at Quakertown High School located in Quakertown, PA. I plan to major in Management, but really anything in the business field catches my interest. I have been playing softball for almost 12 years. I grew up playing the sport that I now love. Softball has given me skills that I can use out in the real world. It has also taught me so many lessons I will always carry in my life. I already have used some lessons from all of my coaches over my time of playing softball. I consider myself to be passionate, hardworking, open-minded, and determined. I never give up when things get hard, and I always am open to trying something new if the old mechanics are not working. Off the field, I work hard in school to maintain a 3.8 GPA(4.0 weighted), and I also try to be the best person I can possibly be. I am ready to play softball at the next level, and my goal is to make the little girl I was playing softball proud and to be the best player I could possibly be. Thank you for your time!
