I started playing softball at a very young age. It was most of my life up to this point. I played little league softball in my little town of Renovo and even when the program stopped I traveled down to Lock Haven, Pa to play and continue my softball "career." I played on Aftershock '03 for five years from ages 12 to 17. I also picked up on Aftershock '01, Aftershock '04, PA Riot, and Renovo Travel Team. I played a total of 10 years and t-ball in my earlier years. I was also on an all-star team for Clinton County for the last two years of my little league career reaching the district championship game my second year. I am a good teammate and work very hard. I also received the following recognitions, as a freshman; 2nd team All- State catcher, as a sophomore; 2nd team league catcher and 1st team All-State catcher, and as a junior; 1st team league shortstop, 1st team All-State short stop and a captain of the team. I am 4th in my class out of 28 students and have a GPA of 3.8. From all my years of experience it has taught me how to be a leader on and off the field. It has also taught me how to not get frustrated over little mistakes, to forget about them and to move on because you will make another one if you dwell on it. I would love to play in college because I would like to get better and meet new friends. I think it would be a great experience.
