Personal Statement
My name is Ellie McCombs I have been the starting second baseman for my high school team since my freshman year. I am a quick slapper. I've been playing ball since I was 5 when I fell in love with the game at the YMCA. I have been playing ever since moving from baseball onto softball. I feel I would be a great asset to your team because of my determination to become a better player than I was the day before. I am a leader on the field and believe its equally important to encourage your teammates.
I feel playing softball at the collegiate level will enhance my college experience. I am a determined and hard working student and that has earned me highest honors both my freshman and sophomore year. I would love to hear from you and discuss how I can help your team. Thank you!
