Shy person in life, Softball has been great for me.  It helped me become what I am today: a goal oriented person and someone who wants to perform in everything I do.  With all the highs and lows that happen in a softball season, the game taught me how to react when I am down as well as when everything goes well.  Softball made me realize that I can compete really hard while respecting my opponent but most importantly, the game. As shy as I am in life, I am very intense on the field.

My biggest goal in life is to play softball at the highest level while getting a good education. I will work very hard to get my grades up to open doors in a US college.  French being my first language, it's giving me another challenge:to succeed in a college, in a second language!! I am convinced that I will be able to achieve that.

Softball has also taught me that I can't take anything for granted. In our first National championship, we were convinced that we would do something good.  Unfortunately, it didn't go as we wanted. That failure made me realize that we always need to work hard and the results will come.  Since that day, I will give everything that I have to this sport, to my coaches and my teammates.  This lesson learned will also apply in my everyday life!
