Miranda Carreiro '20 Recruiting Profile

Over the course of my high school career, my experiences have definitely helped me become the person I am today. Starting from middle school, I used to participate in some activities but not nearly as I do now. Westerly High, offers an abundance of extracurricular activities that are so easily to get involved in. I am a three sport varsity athlete, two in which are in the same season. I have played softball since I was 4 years old, when I began hitting off a tee and parents cheered to run to first, to now hitting off of 60 mph fastballs. I am extremely busy outside of  sports, for I have been a Girl Scouts since I was a Daisy and I am now working to earn my gold award. I am extremely unique, on and off the field I am definitely a leader and have very good communication skills. I am always to practice 15-20 minutes before and am the last to leave. I truly believe that one should get involved in as many extracurricular activities you can do. Overall, Westerly High School has shaped and created my unique personality throughout my experience here.
