Hi, my name is India Braithwaite and I am currently 16 years old. My long term goal is to play fastball as part of my post secondary education. I am a multisport athlete and excel in fastball (2017 16u Provincial Champions - Hustlers and elite level 222 Fastball u16 winter travelling team), volleyball (2017 16u Provincial Team member) and basketball (2018 senior high school city champions and Provincial silver medallists). I am all about "team" and enjoy the support and empowerment that comes with an elite competitive team. I have been described by many as a "naturally gifted" athlete and do not back down from any challenge. My philosophy is to train harder than anyone on my team and to lead by example. I am a quiet leader but am the first to pick up the team if the chips are down and we need a boost. I am an above average student and work as hard on my academics as I do in any sport I participate in. I understand the importance of school and sport and how they must support each other for total success. I pride myself in fitness and conditioning and work to ensure I can succeed at every high level or elite opportunity provided to me. I hope to take what I am currently learning and apply that at the College/University level. I hope to be a starting position player and graduate with a bachelors degree in therapeutic recreation (or related human service program). Thank you for your time and would be happy to discuss in more detail at any time.
