I'm sure you hear this from every athlete you talk to, but I strive to be the best at what I do. I have the same perspective when it comes to academics. My goal was to be at the top of my class, but I would also assist others with the same goal. Regardless of what position I'm playing on the field, I play my best and I have the same goal every day: play better than I did the day before. Yes, I will always make mistakes; who doesn't? However, that shouldn't be used as an excuse. Mistakes will always be made; likewise, encouragement should always be given. It's easy to get aggravated and have a bad attitude during a game, especially when we, as a team, aren't playing the way we should. I think a positive attitude is necessary, no matter how aggravated I get with myself or a teammate.
