Georgia Lieb '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Georgia Lieb and playing softball in college has always been my dream and goal.  I started playing softball when I was 8 years old.  I have been pitching and taking pitching lessons since I was 9.  I have been clocked at 61mph with a spin rate of 1373 by my pitching coach ( Stacy Johnson former University of South Carollina pitcher).  I consistently throw around 60mph. I currently throw 6 pitches.  Fastball, change, drop, drop curve  rise and screw. I consider myself very coachable and strive to get better every day.  I just started doing strength and agility training twice a week to improve my velocity. I put my team first before anything  else and give 100% effort in everything I do.  I love being part of a team and contributing in any way to make the team successful.  I have made honor roll every year in school.  I started on my varsity high school team in 7th grade and have achieved a national ranking, district and regional championship in the largest school district in South Carolina which is 5A.  I have won back to back south Carolina State Championships in both 14U and 16U with my travel team. I was also selected to play on the softball factory’s National All American team.  I  truly believe that I have so much more growing to do in this sport and want to continue my softball career at a school that believes in me and will push me to reach my full potential academically and athletically.
