My name is Taryn Crites and I’ve been playing softball ever since I was 5 years old. I have been a type one diabetic since I was 8 years old and it has not gotten in the way of the how I play sports. In my softball career so far I’ve had 10 home runs and a lot of RBI’S. When I’m on the field I play my heart out, I’m always the loud one on the team trying to get intensity out of my whole team. I treat my teammates like a family because that is how you work together and the win games. I would be a great part of your team because I would treat everyone with respect and help out my teammates when they need me. I do very well in school and my grades as well as my diabetes. I will always work to get better on and off the field.
