Personal Statement

Hello my name is Sadie. I am 6' and my primary position is 1st base, secondary position includes 3rd base. My biggest athletic strength is my power. I am very coachable and a student of the game. I consider myself a leader on and off the field. Once I started playing travel ball I have had a dream of playing in college. I love working hard to help myself and team achieve our goals. My athletic goal is to continue playing the sport I love at a high competition level.

Not only do I work hard on the field but I work extremely hard in the classroom. All of my classes are honors and AP classes and I maintain a 4.3 GPA. I want to study special education in college. It is important the school I choose in the future is a good fit academically and athletically.

To succeed in school, sports and life I have learned I have to sacrifice somethings to achieve my goals and ambitions. I have learn sometimes I have to push a little harder or study a little longer. Being a student athlete I have learned to prioritize and be organized to achieve what is important to me.

Sadie started taking Hitting lessons at the age of 10 at Just Softball in Knoxville. She currently takes lessons from a former Austin Peay State University softball alumni. I currently have a weekly lesson.
