Sarah Byars '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sarah Beth Byars.  I live in Northwest Tennessee and attend Westview High School in Martin, where I play softball and basketball for my school.  I enjoy working at and competing in both sports; however, my goal is to be a college softball player. In addition to playing softball for my school, I have played on a travel team, Fury Platinum - Jimmerson, for the past few years.  I have been playing travel softball since I was 6 years old.  Primarily, I am a utility player, who has spent most of my life playing in the middle infield and outfield.  I have made lots of memories and lots of friends playing sports.  Also, I have learned a great deal about how to work and how to deal with tough situations from being a part of softball teams and working with my teammates, which is the main reason I would like to continue playing softball in college.   I am committed and dedicated athlete who strives to constantly improve.    A team first player, I do not care where I am playing, where I am in the batting lineup, or who gets credit.  I just want to compete and to contribute.
