Melanie Fentress '23 Recruiting Profile

My goals is to become one of the best softball players. My aspirations is to be the best player I can be when playing out on the field. I'm a good candidate for a softball team because I bring motivation for myself and my teammates, no matter if winning or losing. A softball team is almost like family and being there for one another, which is what softball is all about. Even outside of softball, you should always be there for your teammates and drive them with motivation. What makes me different from other recruits is that Some recruits only have a athlete relationship with their teammates, but with me, I have an athlete and a personal relationship with my teammates. A real teammate will have an outside relationship with you as well. I not only care about if they are good on the field, but also if they are showing and doing their best in life. My academic is going excellent. By me staying on the team, I have to have good academic results, which shows my coach, teammates & others that I cares about wanting to be on the team and my education that I can share with my team and others in general.
