Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I have been playing softball since I was 4 years old. I can play pretty much any position on the field but I really love 3rd base and Left. I have also been pitching since I was about 11 years old. Please don't ask me to catch though. Being a catcher takes a special kind of athlete and they get all my respect!
I was born In Germany and raised in a Military family, so we traveled a lot. I have attended Christian schools all through my academic career. So while I would love to continue my education at a Christian school I am open to any school that will provide me the best opportunity to further my education and allow me to be a part of a team where I can contribute and also continue to grow.
Being raised in a military family, hard work and dedication to task was something that was taught to me at an early age. This was the same for my academics and my sports. I have always maintained my grades at an Honor Roll level and strived to push myself to do more academically. Starting in my Junior Year (24/25) I will be eligible to start Duel Enrollment classes. This is something I am looking forward to as it will push me academically and make me stand out among my peers.
Athletically, I have enjoyed many sports throughout my life and tried many things. I spent several years as a cheerleader and gymnast. I have also been playing basketball since I was 7 and it is something that I love almost as much as softball, almost. Making the decision to play softball in college over basketball wasn't a hard one. I started my sports journey with softball and that is how I want to finish it someday. The most joy I have had in my life has been found on a softball field smacking a ball and waiting to see if it will fly over the fence or pushing off the pitchers mound and getting that final strike.
Right now I am undecided about where my academic path will take me in college. I know that I want to do something in the medical field. God has called me to be a servant. I think that almost any school that I choose will have a program I can fit into academically. My hope for now is to find a great softball program that I can bring something to and that I can also learn from.
