Hello my name is Maylie Short I graduate in 2018. I play select for the 18U Texas Widows Elite team. I live on a small farm outside of Bowie, Texas with my family. I play pitcher and I can play anywhere but catcher. I get along well with others and I like new experiences. I love to play softball and work hard while I love playing the game. I never get into a bad mood when I have a softball in my hand. What makes me different from other athletes is that I strive not for wins but for improvement. I want to be that person on the team that when I step on the field they know I do my job while they do there's. Yes I make mistakes but the mistakes make me improve on the things I messed up on. I might not be the strongest hitter or the tallest on the team but I will keep a good attitude through out the entire time I am on the team. I encourage others to do their best.
