Hailey Blankenship '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Hailey Blankenship. I go to Brock High School and will graduate the year of 2020. I started playing softball when I was five years old, while playing I have encountered better teamwork, communication, and listening skills. All these play a big part of who I am today. These skills have taught me how to take responsibilities on and off the field. For example, on the field I have taken these skills and put them into being a better captain. To be a better captain is to understand the needs of your teammates and let them know you care and are willing to help them get to where they want to be. In the classroom, I have put my teamwork skill into doing projects, communication so that everyone is on the same path and listening skills to hear the opinions of my peers. I have maintained a 3.8 to a 4.0 my whole life and continue to strive to push my self harder and harder each day. I would be a good candidate because I'm always there to give it my all whether I'm having a good or bad day and I like to help and watch my teammates strive every day to be the best they can be.
