Deandra Ruiz '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Deandra Ruiz I have been playing softball since the age of 4 and have been catcher throughout my softball career. From loving the game at such a young age its always been my dream to play at the college level. As being a catcher I must see the everything and I can say I am very good at that. I'm able to call plays and immediately think of a solution if in a 'pickle'. Although I'm a shy person off the field I know how to speak up and be a leader as a catcher and I'm extremely coachable and able to help my fellow team mates or as I like to call them my family.
