I started playing softball when I was 7 and my goal from then on was to make varsity. After accomplishing that my freshman year I'm now prepping for college. I don't want to just play in college, I want to compete. I strive to give my college a reason to retire my number. One of the most important skills I learned this year was balancing my classes and playing softball, maintaining my A average was very important to me. My goal is to keep my grades up and graduate towards the top of my class. I want to be noticed athletically and academically.
I will gladly take a leadership role on and off the field. I will fight to earn my spot on the field but I will also observe and learn from anyone that beats me out for it. I sprained my ankle at the very beginning of the 2016 season and as soon as I was allowed I was back on the field doing all that I could. That time on the bench gave me a new appreciation for every game I play and the value of good chemistry with my teammates. I'm searching for a college that fits me academically as well as athletically. It does not take long for me to make an impact on any team I play for.
