My name is Zoey De Baca, I live in El Paso, Texas and softball has been a significant part of my life since age four. Softball has taught me how to be successful, but more importantly, it has taught me how to cope with failure and challenges. As I have grown up, I have realized that the game of softball has taught me many life lessons. Discipline and the ability to receive feedback are two characteristics that I have adopted and embraced. Strong work ethic was something my parents stressed at a very young age. I have always believed that hard work on and off the field pays off and this has helped me earn my position at every level of competition. I have been competitive for as long as I can remember and this has allowed me much success in the sport of softball and academics. I would like to study heath sciences to eventually lead into a career in dentistry.
