Chelsea Blankenship '20 Recruiting Profile

 I aspire to do my best in everything I do. I am not afraid to challenge myself and others around me. I have high expectations for my academics and have strong moral character. I am an encourager who always looks to lift others up. I have been know to awkwardly dance or sing in order to help cheer up my teammates. My faith is what keeps me strong even when I am struggling. I will always give 100% and use every play and every at bat as a learning opportunity. I know that I will make mistakes but my goal is to never make the same mistake twice. I don't look at it as failing but as learning.  If you ask my coaches they will tell you that I am very coachable. I can take criticism and feedback and I don't shy away from asking for it.  If you ask my teammates they will tell you that I am always encouraging and supporting them in practices and games. I truly believe in the team and reaching group goals. We share each others' goals so we can help each other and hold each other accountable.
