After years of hard work and dedication my dream of playing college softball came true last year. I was granted
the opportunity to play collegiate softball for Kentucky Christian University 2018-2019. I enjoyed the season and established some amazing
relationships with teammates and learned a lot from my coaches. I love meeting new people and hearing their
perspective on the game I hold so dear. It was a great experience. However, this summer while I was at home I got into my first ever car accident and it made me reevaluate going so far away to school. After careful
consideration and much thought, I felt that I needed be closer to family. I have put in countless hours, blood,
sweat and tears into this game. My goal is to find a new team to be apart of and continue to live out my dream of
playing college softball. During summer break I was asked to coach and then asked to return for the fall season.
This has given me the opportunity to experience the game from a completely different preservative. I have gained more
knowledge, insight and even more respect for the game. I strive for perfection on the field and in the classroom.
I never settle for a mediocre performance or just halfhearted effort. I know perfection may not be
obtained but that is my goal. I also believe that there is always something I can improve on.
