Elana Laboy '19 Recruiting Profile

I grew up seeing pics of my aunt playing sports. Watched my little sisters play and talk about the sport. I never did understand what they were talking about or why they loved the sport so much because my passion was dance. Around 11 years old I decided to toss around the softball with my sister's so we could spend some time together. I then discovered how much fun it was and fell in love with the intensity of the game. As time went on I continued to dance but would feel more fulfillment out on the field. I then decided to start focusing on how to properly develop my softball skills and take everything that i have to offer the sport on to the next level.
