When I was 5 years old I remember trying out for a softball team, once I got on a team and was on the field for the first time, my love for softball had taken over. Softball has made me into a better person and a better athlete that I never thought I could be. From playing late night games to waking up early in the mornings to play again, I knew that I am willing to do anything to get on that field and be the best at any position I am given. Most people wonder why I wake up early to do conditioning, fielding, and hitting with my team. And I just tell them that those hard long hours in the heat and on that field make more and more mentally tough. I am a determined athlete that wants to work hard for every single girl on my team. All of my teammates are the reason why I go hard for every ball that tries to go past me and run it out when I hit a line drive. Though playing softball in college is a big determination of mine, I also want to go into the medical field and become an Orthopedic surgeon. I have always had an interest in anatomy and how you can better the function of any part of the body. I am in all AP classes and am wanting to shadow at orthopedic offices so I can also get a better idea of surgery. I believe that all goals can be achieved as long as you work for them and help others that have helped achieve those goals.
